Our studio/workshop is situated within the historic Brooklyn Army Terminal (BAT), a monumental industrial complex on the Brooklyn waterfront.


Originally designed by renowned architect Cass Gilbert as the nation’s largest military supply base, this landmark building now serves as a premier hub for a diverse community of manufacturers, artists, and innovators.

THE WORKSHOP

The workshop is where our practice begins. Here, we test, experiment, and refine. Every piece we create reflects our respect for process, material, and form.

MAURO SOLMI

Founded in 2023 by Mauro Solmi, the studio draws from a family background in metalsmithing and design.


Mauro holds a Bachelor of Product Design from the University of Florence and a Master in Industrial Design from Politecnico di Milano. He sharpened his eye at Fuseproject in San Francisco and Creme Design in New York.
